A Unique Fund Raising Event

 

DG Promotions partnered with Carnival Cruise Lines would like to help raise money for your organization & will provide a “contribution” using a cruise as a fundraiser.

 Think of the great benefits:

• Press releases & advertising of your fund raising cruise can bring more community recognition to your organization.
• Friends & family tend to vacation together so you gain access to potential new contributors who have disposable income and can assist you with future events.  

DG Promotions will match funds raised by the non-profit organization up to $10 per day per stateroom. The “contribution” check, based on the actual number of staterooms that sail, will be made payable to the non-profit organization and mailed thirty days after the sailing. Substantiation of the donations raised by the organization through the cruise promotion must be submitted at the time of final payment.

 The organization may choose to raise funds by marking up the group rate and/or by taking the value of the free berths earned as their contribution. Here are some examples:  

• Group marks up price by $35 per person/ $70 per cabin on a 7 day cruise: Group sells 100 cabins
  100 cabins x $70 = $7,000
  Carnival will match up to $70 per cabin for charity
  100 cabins x $70 = $7,000
  Group auctions an earned free cabin at fundraising event & it sells for $2,0000
  TOTAL FUNDS RAISED = $16,000 

• Group marks up price by $30 perperson/$60 per cabin on a 4 day cruise: Group sells 100 cabins
  100 cabins x $60 = $6,000
  Carnival will match up to $40 per cabin for charity
  100 cabins x $40 = $4,000
  TOTAL FUNDS RAISED = $10,000  

• Group marks up price by $25 per person/$50 per cabin on a 5 day cruise: Group sells 75 cabins
  75 cabins x $50 = $3,750
  Carnival will match up to $50 per cabin for charity
  75 cabins x $50 = $3,750
  Group sells 200 raffle tickets for earned free cabin @ $5 each for additional $1,000
  TOTAL FUND RAISING = $8,500
